My name is Mario Pappalardo and I am a landscape photographer based on Sicily east coast, the biggest island in the south of Italy. My mother land is characterized by a multiplicity of different and interesting natural aspects: coastal, mountains, lowlands and also the biggest active volcano in Europe, the Etna. This incredible mix of elements encouraged the growth of a great love for nature and all its beauty. My photographic passion started in the late 2007 when, after a short period of experimentation with a friend’s compact digital camera, I decide to buy my first used DSLR, a Canon EOS 400D. Last years were really intense and incredibly rich in term of technical experimentation and fun. Now I know that a visual journey is started and it will never end! Most of the works you could find on this site is typically from Sicily but I will try to show you even some views from different places taken on my summer trips.
